Surfaces

A surface is an area in the garden plan, which has a form of a stripe, ellipse or rectangle. The available surfaces include lawns, paving and even water. You can apply borders by selecting a non-zero width on the border slider. Note that overlapping surface objects with the same border and internal patterns are automatically merged, thus allowing to create more complex images (e.g. pathways, patios and garden ponds). By default the items located at the bottom of the surface list are placed on top of those located higher up.
