Garden Care Calendar
This window contains a list of plant species placed in your garden arranged in the alphabetical order.
Plant Total The left-hand column contains the total number of plants for each species
(estimated according to the planting density and the area you have selected when placing
them), along with a plant type icon (e.g. tree, flower, climber, water plant, etc.)
Name This column contains full names of plants. Whether the Latin or National name is
indicated is determined by the selection within the plant encyclopedia.
Monthly Plant Care is represented by a series of columns headed with the names of the
months. This group of columns contains up to seven plant care icons for each month, showing what tasks
should be performed on each plant in each corresponding month. Clicking on an icon opens
a dialog containing plant care information, which may be accompanied by an animation
sequence. This animation sequence can be played by clicking on the Animate button, and
stopped by clicking on the Stop button.
You can also print the Garden Care Calendar.
Garden tools
The list of different tools you are able to use together with the information about them is
shown in the bottom left hand corner of the window. Some of the tools also have a short
animation sequence which demonstrates how to use them. The “Animate” button will be
enabled on these tools
You will also find links to the information on the garden care and to the tools section. This
will indicate which tools you should or could use in your garden for particular purposes. If
you want to get more concrete information on what you actually have to do, you can use a
Tools button located at the bottom of the dialog. By selecting this option you will get a
complete list of all the tools you need to perform a particular task.
Botanical Game
The Botanical Game gives you the opportunity to check your botanical knowledge and to
play our fun "plant" game at the same time. This can be a simulating game for children as
well. Playing this game allows you to take a short break in the designing process, relax and
learn some new plants and their names. The rules are simple. You have to choose the right
image corresponding to an offered name or to choose the right name for an image. The
game is played only with the plants included in the current encyclopedia list. Thus, if you
want to reduce the amount of plants in the game, you need to filter them in the Encyclopedia.
Notes
Notes related to the plan can be created in the process of your work with the help of the the
built-in editor. Click the Notes button and type any notes about your plan. This text is a
printable part of the plan. You can view or edit it at any time. The notes are used as
descriptions for filter plants (they are contained in the Filter folder on the installation disc).
By choosing a filter plan for the Custom filter in the Encyclopedia, you will see these notes
instead of a plan thumbnail.
