How to change from metric to US measurement system and back within Garden Composer? |

Garden Composer uses the measurement system of your Windows settings. Find an icon Regional Settings on your control panel. Open the Numbers tab and choose either Metric or US measurement system. |

The absence of the pictogram indicating the most favorable soil type means that the usual cultivated soil is suitable for this plant. |

Yes. Run "Plant Base Editor" for data editing and change the required parameters. |

Yes, it is possible. To do it open both plans. Then select the fragment to be copied on one plan and copy (move) it to the other. |

Yes, it is quite possible. Having made the inscription in any text editor (MS Word or MS Excel for example), select "Insert new object" command from "Edit" menu and insert the inscription in the plan. |

Is it possible to calculate the area of the planted lawn? |

Yes. Select "Lawns" from "Usage" in "Plant Filter" window and press OK. Then press "Place" button in "Plant Encyclopedia" window. Select the shape and the size of the garden in "Plant Place" window. You will find its area in "Garden Care Calendar" window, "Plant Total" column. |

If two surfaces of different types cross, which of them will be above? |

The surface that is lower in the surface list will be above on the plan. Water surfaces that are the lowest in the list have the highest priority and always will be above. To change order: press "Place over" key in "Surface" window. |

Is it possible to construct a building of the complex configuration? |

Yes. You can create complex structures, using simple modules and setting the transparency for textures. See examples are placed in "Samples" directory on the CD. |

What is the maximum size of the designed plan? |

The program on CD allows designing a garden up to 516 m x 516 m. If this is not sufficient there is a patch available for registered users that allows max size of 1000 meters. |

Is it possible to add new object to the program? |

Yes. Find "Konkur3D.GRD" and "Mark3D.GRD" files in the directory "Samples". There are libraries of additional objects, such as various obstacles for equestrian sport and traffic signs set with the traffic lights. |
