Plant Encyclopedia
This is the most extensive and complete Encyclopedia of plants.
Each entry is illustrated with one or more colored pictures.
Growing zones, sun exposure, soil moisture, soil composition, colors of flowers, leaves and fruit, the colors
of autumn leaves, growing rates, spreading rates, plant sizes and annual flowering, fruiting calendars, plant
origins, and other useful information are included in plant profiles. Some plants are illustrated with slide
shows, which demonstrate them in every detail.

Plant and Resource Editor
This is a separate tool.
Its main purpose is to add, delete and change plants in the Garden Composer Encyclopedia as well as to create
user customized fields in the Encyclopedia filters. It also allows a user to add its own digital photographs of

Garden Planner
This tool allows you to get the birds-eye view of your garden. Apart from the guidelines, grid and background
colour that may have been already added by a user, this window appears to be empty as you start creating a new
garden. To get on with serious design you have to build up your garden by placing various surfaces, buildings,
decor, pathways, and more importantly plant objects on the plan. The planner component features include:
- Placing / deleting / selecting objectse.g. plants, ponds, fences, etc.;

You can publish your garden plan in the Internet creating a web site containing the information about your
garden or adding individual pages to an existing site. You can export 3D images allowing visitors to take virtual
tours of your garden. Real-time 3D visualization on the Internet is carried out by VRML plug-in. It is also
possible to publish a detailed list or create an illustrated catalogue of your garden plants.
